Pinspired: Fried Stuffed Mushrooms

I often use pinterest to try and find simple delicious recipes to to cook for my husband and I. I must admit quite a few turn out like those nailed it comparisons.

But with all failure there is some success and I have found a recipe that is simple, includes seasonings most have in ones at home spice rack and it's delicious. Recipe is from La Petite Brioche.

Filling
8oz onion chive flavored cream cheese
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1tsp Tabasco sauce (optional)
20 large button mushrooms

Coating
1,8oz package Panko bread crumbs
3 beaten eggs
1 cup flour

Oil for deep frying

*I didn't have onion chive flavored cream cheese, but I did have powdered onion and chives in my spice collection. I just added a tablespoon of each to my cream cheese along with the other spices in the recipe.
*I used Tapatio hot sauce, since it is what my husband and I use at home. Use your favorite hot sauce brand whatever it may be. It adds lots of flavor and a nice hint of spice (I used a bit more than 1tsp).
*I also didn't have bread crumbs, but I did have Ritz Crackers. I placed the crackers in a ziplock bag and crushed them into what became my breadcrumbs. They worked great!
*My suggestion is season to "your" taste.

Mine did not come out as perfectly as Christa Rose from "La Petite Brioche", but it turned out just as delicious.

Recipe tested and approved by a real-life mediocre cook.
